From a young age, I’ve always loved meeting new people, learning new things, and pushing myself outside of my comfort zone. One of the most meaningful experiences that shaped who I am was attending Pueblo Inglés, an English-speaking summer camp in Spain. Being immersed in a completely English-only environment challenged me to grow in confidence, independence, and communication. I learned how to express myself clearly, adapt quickly, and connect with people from different backgrounds. That experience sparked my love of language, teamwork, and discovering new perspectives.
Another part of who I am is my passion for GAA. Playing GAA has taught me discipline, resilience, leadership, and the importance of supporting the people around me. Whether it’s training hard, encouraging teammates, or pushing myself during a match, GAA gives me purpose and pride. It has shaped me into someone who doesn’t give up easily and who always tries to bring positive energy to others.
My dream is to become a nurse. I have always been drawn to caring for people, listening when someone needs support, and trying to make a difference in someone’s day. Nursing inspires me because it combines compassion, skill, and strength — qualities I want to develop even more. I want to work in a career where I can help people feel safe and supported, especially during their most vulnerable moments.
What makes me unique is the combination of my empathy, determination, and enthusiasm for learning. Whether I’m representing my team on the pitch, adapting to a new environment at an international camp, or working toward my future in healthcare, I bring dedication and a genuine desire to do my best. I’m proud of the experiences that have shaped me, and I’m excited to keep growing, learning, and moving toward my goal of becoming a nurse
