Erin Kelly

There’s nothing like traveling somewhere new and meeting new people to give you more perspective and joy. I’m Erin, and am from upstate New York. I’ve lived all over the northeast of the US and currently live in Connecticut.

I started traveling in college and haven’t stopped yet. My favorite country that I’ve been to is Norway, but I’ve been to eleven countries so far, and can’t wait for more adventures in new places.

This year, I’m starting a new career journey of running my own online business, but prior to that, I was a teacher and worked with people with disabilites for about ten years.

When not traveling or working, I love playing music and learning more about it. I’ve also found there are so many amazing places you can travel to locally, and enjoy finding hidden gems right in my own town.

In 2022, I volunteered in Laubach for Englischausen, and had the most incredible experience with both the other volunteers and the students. I can’t wait for this next opportunity to go to a new place and meet new people while learning their stories while watching them grow. It is so wonderful to see someone’s confidence grow as they become more fluent in another language.
