I am currently on a career break from my job in finance and I have decided to travel throughout Europe. I’m a solo traveller and enjoy being a tourist and seeing the sights; however, I also like to feel that I’m still contributing to society which I feel I can do by volunteering. My favourite part of the programme is seeing the development of the students from the first day to the last, seeing their progress, and meeting new people from around the world, is what makes the programme a worthwhile experience – it’s great fun! While on my break I’ve found myself pushed completely out of my routine and am enjoying experiencing everything that has come from this. For example, I sang in public for the first time EVER!
