I have been retired for six years after a career spent working in the public service in central London. I have a house in France and spend several weeks a year there. My main interest is classical music, and in particular playing the piano. I take part in concerts every few weeks as an accompanist to singers and violinists. I love cricket and am an avid follower of the England cricket team. I used to play club cricket every Saturday afternoon until I injured my hand and thought to myself “I would be foolish to continue and not be able to play the piano!”
