Janet Marshall

This was one of the best and most memorable experiences of my life

I am a talker. I love to talk! I used to get into trouble for talking too much in school. My report cards would go home with comments from the teachers saying things like, “Janet talks too much”, “Janet needs to talk less and work more”, and “Janet still talks too much”. My family thinks I talk too much. So when my son heard about Pueblo Inglés, he told me about it and said he thought it sounded like something I would like, because it involves a lot of talking.

When I went to the website and read about it, I got very excited. It sounded perfect for me! Not only do I love to talk, I also love to travel, and to meet new people. This sounded like a program made for me!

I was not disappointed. I LOVED it! Everything about the program impressed me: the beautiful location, the accommodations, the food, the staff (Sam, the MC, and Sabela, the program director, were fantastic! And the wait staff was terrific too), the amazing variety in the programming, and all the creative ideas they had to get people engaged in both meaningful conversations and fun activities – what a fantastic way to improve the students’ English! And everything was very well organized.

I had one of the best weeks of my life at Pueblo Ingles. I got to talk for over 100 hours!  I loved the mental stimulation of those conversations, and getting to know the students, and learning about their lives and their culture. I got to see a new country, which I fell in love with! I got to dance! (I love to dance!) And I got to meet many wonderful new people! By the end of the week, I had 48 new friends from around the world.

This was one of the best and most memorable experiences of my life. Thank you, Diverbo. I will definitely be going back!
