Julia Martinez

Hi! My name is Julia, and I had the best time last year being part of the Pueblo Inglés program. It was my first year, and it was also my very first trip to Spain, which was super exciting!

My experience was the best! I had a so much fun helping other teens improve their English skills, and at the same time make some new amazing friends from all over the world. What was cool is that while I was helping others with English, I learned so much myself from all the awesome people I got to meet and talk to.

I was born and raised in Florida, United States. I live with my mom, dad, my brother, and our dog, Bailey. Because my mom is Swedish, I have also lived in Stockholm, Sweden, for one year during elementary school.

I’m currently in my first year of high school, which is a big change! Outside of school, I stay busy playing travel soccer and I’m also on the Varsity soccer team at school. In my free time, I love hanging out with my friends and family. I also enjoy listening to music, doing some art, shopping (of course!), and traveling. Our whole family loves to travel, and we take trips both within the U.S. and internationally.

I’m looking forward to my next adventure and another summer at Pueblo Inglés!
