I’m from a small town in Ontario, just outside of Kingston, where I live with my mom, dad, older brother, and our cat. I come from a big, close-knit family, and I attend a Catholic high school where I’m finishing up my grade eleven year. I also work part-time as a waitress at a local diner, saving up for post-secondary school. I’ve always had a passion for traveling and exploring new places, which is why I’m so happy to have experienced the opportunity to go to Spain through this program. I think it was an amazing way to immerse myself in a new culture, met new people, and strengthened my social skills. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, dancing, swimming, and playing basketball. I’m also a Bronze Medallion certified swimmer. I love being outdoors—especially when camping with my family in the summer. Apart from Spain, I’ve traveled to places like Florida, California, Myrtle Beach, and Cuba, as well as on a student exchange to Alberta. Each trip has taught me something new, and I’m always excited to keep learning more about the world and myself through new experiences.
