A love of people and travel has taken me to many diverse places in the world. I’ve learned how to build a mud brick house in Rwanda, drunk chai with trafficked women in Kolkata in the largest red light area of South East Asia, helped paint a school in the train track slum area of Cambodia and recently completed volunteering for 15 months at an NGO founded by people living with HIV in East Timor. To have a break, this month my husband and I completed walking 800km of the El Camino de Santiago in Spain. Life is for living and I believe to really live you have to give.”

After walking the El Camino de Santiago, this was the perfect way to end our time in Spain.  I really enjoyed the week in La Alberca. The best part was meeting so many lovely people, both Spanish participants and volunteers alike. Very well organised and friendly team support.
