My husband & I had heard about our friends’ wonderful experience volunteering with Pueblo Ingles. We thought it would be a different type of experience for us, especially since we had never visited Spain before.

Before retiring we both had worked in educational settings.  When the opportunity arose for us to assist Valencian Spanish teachers with their English, we jumped to the challenge.

Our visit lasted 5 days & nights. We had the pleasure of meeting, working & socializing with amazing teachers & other volunteers. Our program directors, Soraya & Jonathan, were completely dedicated to helping the teachers improve their English so that they could better serve their students. I can’t say enough about their expertise, organizational skills & fun personalities. Yes, we talked a lot, but it wasn’t all work. There were many, many fun times had by all. My husband & I would love the opportunity to participate in this program again in the near future. It was a unique experience to volunteer for this very special organization.
