Wananga Te Ariki Brown

In my teens I had (and still have) a passion for music, I started playing guitar at an early age but switched to drums at age 16 and joined my first band soon after. Through the years I have played different musical genre, rock, pop, jazz etc but, always english language. About eight years ago, whilst surfing YouTube I came across a song called Ahí Estás Tú by Spanish band Chambao. Music of a kind I had never heard before. Yep, it flipped my musical world upside down. Now, eight years later (and thanks to Chambao) I have travelled to Spain four times, studied the language for the last three years and created a YouTube channel (walton brown los tambores) where I perform spanish language music. By the end of 2024 I would have attended two immersion programs at Pueblo Inglés and one at Pueblo Español and I doubt it will end there. I am always excited when I think of Pueblo.
