DO YOU WANT TO STUDY ENGLISH OR SPEAK ENGLISH?
The formula: bring together 20 Spaniards and 20 English speakers to live and share experiences in English for 8 days. A complete English immersion program with only one rule:
“NO SPEAKING SPANISH”.

FORGET GRAMMAR FOCUSED TRADITIONAL ACADEMIES
You’ve probably attended many grammar classes and still struggle to speak English or understand native speakers. Each day at Pueblo Inglés is equivalent to 10 days abroad. You’ll spend 15 hours a day with English speakers from different nationalities and accents.

PROVEN EFFECTIVENESS AND REAL RESULTS
More than 35,000 participants since July 2001. People who achieved progress that would have taken years with traditional English classes. Our clients include companies like Indra, Telefónica, Deloitte, Cepsa, Mercedes Benz, Microsoft, Repsol YPF, Vodafone…

Communication
Our main goal is for you to lose the fear of speaking English and do so without worrying about small grammar mistakes, that would ruin your confidence. Even if you make errors, as everyone, the support of native volunteers will help correct them while you focus on speaking coherently and gaining fluency almost effortlessly during the week.
How do we want you to achieve this? With eight days of over 100 hours of English exposure.

Understanding
When students don’t understand their conversation partner, they often think their level is too low and they need more classes. But listening comprehension issues aren’t always due to lack of level. Traditional classes use “unreal” communication situations where the teacher’s pronunciation is tailored for students to understand everything.
At Pueblo Inglés, you’ll encounter 10 different accents to gain confidence in “real” communication situations and improve your listening skills.

Confidence
Can you imagine sharing meals with English speakers and feeling completely comfortable? Or giving a presentation in English in front of an audience? In order to speak confidently in another language, you have to understand others effortlessly. Without this understanding, anxiety and fear arise, and confidence is lost. We work on your confidence!
More than 15 hours of English daily will help you break mental barriers and overcome any insecurity.
You’ll start dreaming in English
Results
By the end of your stay at Pueblo Inglés, you’ll have overcome stage fright, gained renewed confidence in your ability to communicate, and stopped translating from Spanish before speaking. You’ll speak without worrying about grammar mistakes and recognize your own errors through repetition.
After completing the program, you’ll have experienced a concentration of English that would take months to achieve elsewhere.
And it doesn’t stop there. Living with English speakers will immerse you in their lifestyle and culture, traditions, humor…

AT PUEBLO INGLÉS, WE BRING THE FOREIGN EXPERIENCE TO SPAIN
Eight days offer a level of English immersion few places can match—you’ll even start dreaming in English. All in a unique microcosm, living side by side with Spaniards and English speakers. Laughing together, playing sports together… an English course that becomes a social and personal experience you’ll never forget.
Eight days of shared opinions, experiences, and meals with people who have fascinating stories.
A minimum English level of low-intermediate is required to attend the program, as this is where students often feel stuck and need to face English outside the classroom.
Our unique formula
How do we do it

Talk with native English speakers
Our star activity. Fifty minutes of free conversation with a native speaker. Then you’ll talk with another native speaker with a different accent. Over eight days, all Spaniards will have conversations with all English speakers.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Remember: no speaking Spanish! Meals are served with an English accent, and the immersion doesn’t stop. At each table, two Spaniards and two English speakers share a delicious conversation, practicing real-life work scenarios.

Learn English while having fun
To progress, you must overcome the fear of embarrassment. You’ll use English in theater plays, sketches, and informal group conversations in our meeting room.

Practice English in your free time
After lunch, you’ll have an hour and a half of free time to do whatever you want. It’s the perfect moment to review the grammar provided by the program director and master of ceremonies on the first day. Although our methodology goes beyond traditional classes, refreshing vocabulary and expressions is always helpful.
And also
Master real professional situations

Phone sessions in English
This activity helps overcome barriers in business phone conversations. How often have you felt insecure speaking with an English-speaking client or supplier? The lack of body language adds difficulty, and we work to overcome it at Pueblo Inglés.

Video calls with natives
Video call conversation between three or more people in different locations. In this setting, conversations overlap, there’s no body language, and accents mix. This activity helps you gain confidence in conference calls and feel comfortable.

Speak English in public
Presenting a project or idea in public is always challenging—doing it in English even more so. That’s why you’ll attend a presentation seminar and give two presentations to the group, making this activity completely manageable.
The right amount of time
Why an 8-day program?
After 25 years, over 3,000 programs, and nearly 90,000 participants, we’ve found that 8 days is the optimal period to meet goals and get a good return on investment.

Professional and personal effort is essential
The pilot program in July 2001 lasted 15 days. Although successful, we learned that repeating the program year-round required a shorter duration due to participants’ work and home commitments. We set the challenge of finding the optimal time to maximize English hours without compromising quality and results. We discovered that 100 hours were necessary for the desired effect. Thus, 8 days became the perfect duration.
8 days to understand, think, and dream
How do those 8 days work? The first 5 days help your ear adapt to quickly connecting words and grammar structures with what you hear from native speakers. Many students say they don’t understand spoken English but can comprehend it when written—so it’s not a grammar issue. They need to train their ear and interpret what they hear. Once this is mastered, the remaining 3 days reinforce everything learned and focus on other aspects: overcoming stage fright and embarrassment, and speaking and thinking in English without translating from Spanish.

Intensive immersion
What if we did a 5- or 6-day course without using the weekend? This would reduce costs due to shorter duration and higher weekend accommodation prices. But would the course’s goal be met? Absolutely not. We’d lose the last 3 crucial days for fluency. If we’re doing an intensive English course, let’s make it as intensive as possible.
What else do we achieve?
An 8-day English course with over 100 hours and 15 hours of English daily helps break the psychological barrier, overcome stage fright and embarrassment, and communicate in English—even if your grammar isn’t perfect.
(*) An English course equivalent to two years of traditional classes (two hours per week).

Exciting stories and real experiences
The stories of our participants are the heart of Pueblo Inglés. The faces and tales behind each program are the essence of the immersion week. Meet film industry professionals, war veterans, writers, pioneering women, musicians, tireless adventurers of all ages. Chat with them, discover their lives, share your experiences, and create unforgettable human memories—all in English.
15 hours of English daily
A day at Pueblo Inglés

Each day at Pueblo Inglés equals 10 days abroad. You’ll spend 15 hours daily with English speakers from around the world, each with their own accent. Start with breakfast and end with social hours after dinner, chatting and laughing in English. The immersion is total, inside and outside the classroom, and each day is an adventure to share with other English speakers and participants.
