I have attended four different programmes with Pueblo Ingles over the years and there is a reason I keep coming back! Pueblo Ingles is the highlight of my summer and I wouldn’t trade the memories for anything.
Every summer I meet a new group of people who are all so kind and leave an impact on me – from their stories, their outlook on life, and their friendship. I always cry at the end of every programme because you become so close with everyone and goodbyes are always hard.
This summer in Las Salegas I had a roommate, Elena, and I miss her so much. We would always say we would go to sleep early but would stay awake talking every time. We would share clothes and do each other’s makeup and I miss spending everyday with her.
I would spend my whole summer volunteering with Pueblo Ingles if I could and I think that speaks to how amazing this experience is.
If you have the chance to volunteer, make sure you do because you will have such a wonderful time and make so many new friends! It’s definitely worth it.
